The first session is finding out all about your weight problems, what you have done in the past, what has worked for you and what has not. Weight problems often go hand in hand with low-self esteem and a general lack of confidence, so these issues have to be addressed as well. Often clients binge eat, eat far too quickly, so their stomach doesn't have a chance to communicate to their brain that they are full and they continue to eat until they are absolutely bloated. Or maybe the problem is snacking between meals and being unaware of how much they are eating during the day. Another problem is comfort eating in the evenings to combat feelings of loneliness or boredom. We will then put your goals in place, how much you want to lose, what sort of exercise that you do now and how you could improve on this.
Usually two to three sessions are needed to get you back on the right path to achieving your potential as the person that you want to become.

Many other issues will require one or two sessions. I do offer a free initial consultation so that I can be sure that I can help you to achieve you goals.

Please note these numbers are for guidance only. Some issues will require more sessions and some less. it all depends on whether there are other underlying issues that have to be dealt with.
